DANVILLE, Ky. - The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's track and field teams had a great team showing in the SAA Track and Field Championship on Friday and Saturday. The men's team finished fourth overall and the women fifth, but Jailah Loving and Maurice Sutherland were conference champions in their individual events.

Quotes from Coach Cox
"This has been a season like no other, and to be a part of this conference championship was special. Overall we have a young team and many of our athletes gained a lot of experience throughout the last few months. We had a number of personal records set and performances that we as a coaching staff believe were possible at this point in the season."
