BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham Southern uses two goals by Alessandro Junior to beat Huntingdon 5-1.
The Panthers started the season off with two wins after beating LaGrange and now Huntingdon.
Four goals came in the first half with the first goal in the 10th minute from
Max Albertson assisted by
Cesar Hurtado.
The Panthers continued to dominate possession and had the majority of chances, with the second goal coming from Alessandro Junior, assisted by
Trey Kirksey. The goal was an absolute banger from Junior that hit the top left corner.
For Huntingdon Varian Carty then scored a goal in the top left corner, to keep 'Southern ahead 2-1.
Birmingham southern then scored their third goal with a free kick from
Pirmin Blattmann that was finished by
Cesar Gonzalez.
The second half proved to be a dominate performance by 'Southern as they would go on to score two more goals.
The fourth goal was scored by Alessandro Junior, for his second of the match, and assisted by
Vittorio Vopicelli.
The skillful
Vittorio Vopicelli then finished the scoring off with an assist by Alessandro Junior. Junior finished the game with two goals and an assist.
