THREE PANTHERS EARN ALL-SAA HONORS

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Southern Athletic Association released their all-conference teams on Thursday based on coaches votes from regular season performances. Maya Cable, Sheraton Foster, and Montana Harris were all named Honorable Mention for their extremely productive seasons.

Sophomore guard Maya Cable was named All-SAA Honorable Mention in her first season for BSC. Cable started all 25 games she was available for and was second on the team in scoring with 13.7 ppg and first in minutes with 34.4 mpg. The Alabama A&M transfer was the three-point specialist for the Panthers with a team-leading 44 threes made, putting her tied for fifth in the conference. She was also seventh in the SAA in three-point percentage with .306. The guard was not just a spot-up shooter as she finished third in the conference in free throw percentage with .805 after consistently getting to the line.

Sheraton Foster was an All-SAA Honorable Mention selection in her sophomore campaign after starting all 26 games for the Panthers. The crafty guard lead the team in scoring with 14.8 ppg and was second in minutes with 33.9 mpg. Foster finished sixth in the SAA in scoring and was third in the conference in free throws made with 113. She also led BSC with 64 assists on offense for ninth in the SAA and 49 steals on the defensive end for fifth in the conference in 2024. Foster finished the year with six games over 20 points including a career-high 31 points on the road at Belhaven in December. 

Montana Harris earned her second consecutive All-SAA Honorable Mention selection after starting 23 games in her junior season. The forward was the enforcer in the paint for BSC by averaging 12.6 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game. Harris finished sixth in the SAA in rpg and top 15 in scoring. The do-it-all forward also led the team in offensive rebounds with 56 while also recording 31 steals.
