BSC WINS EIGHT MATCHES VS HENDRIX AT HOME

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team won their second consecutive conference match with an 8-1 win over Hendrix on Saturday.

To start off the morning, BSC dominated in doubles with three wins out of three matches for the second consecutive match. No. 2 Hallet Green/Sam Tolbert got the first win of the day, 8-4, while No. 1 Tanner DeBardelaben/Tom Smith won their exciting match, 8-6. The Panthers had already clinched the doubles series, but No. 3 duo Ryan King/Eli Ingleson finalized the sweep with an 8-5 win in the final doubles match.

Ryan King and Tanner DeBardelaben highlighted the singles matches for the Panthers. King competed in the No. 2 position and cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win to cap off his phenomenal day. DeBardelaben also pitched a shutout in one of his sets in the No. 3 position. The junior won his match 6-0, 6-2 to standout in a huge 8-1 win for the Panthers.
