Pre-BSC: Played for Coach Ron Rineer at The Heritage School… also played basketball, track and tennis for the Hawks…voted team captain for soccer…twice won the Golden Boot Award …three-time Iron Man Champion …member of All-Region and All-State teams in track and field… made Dean’s List and High School Who’s Who.

Personal: Born on September 27, 1989…son of Consuelo Castanon... has two brothers, Osmar Penot Lopez and Enrique "Ricky" Mendoza...Double-Majoring in Pre-Med and Spanish.
