Biography

2010:  Named honerable mention all conference... Played and started in nine games his junior year.

2009:  Played and started nine games as a sophomore.

2008:  Took the field in seven games as a freshman, twice as a starter... had one tackle.

Pre-BSC:  Two-year letterwinner at Whitefield Academy under coach Jimmy Fields... earned Honorable Mention All-Region honors and helped lead the Wolfpack to the 2007 Region 5A title... recorded 80 tackles, including 53 solo tackles, in two seasons of play... also lettered in basketball and baseball... member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Born on Jan. 13, 1990... son of Bill and Janna Atkins... majoring in business administration.
