Alan Spell

Alan Spell was named the Panthers wide receivers coach in October 2020.
 
Spell came from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio where he coached the wide receivers and tight ends for three seasons.  He was a part of a scoring offense that was ranked 26th in NCAA Division III.  While at MSJ, he produced wide receiver AJ Glines, who was first-team all-conference, first-team all-region, academic all-conference, team offensive MVP, and broke the single-season records for most touchdowns and reception yards. He also mentored all-conference tight end Paul Minor.
 
Before joining MSJ, Spell had multiple coaching stops at the high school and prep levels in Ohio, Kentucky, and North Carolina.  A native of Cincinnati, he graduated from Kentucky State University in 2008 with a B.A. in psychology and minor in athletic training/athletic coaching.
