The 2022 season will be Joey White’s second season with the Panthers. White will be working with the tight ends.

In 2021, White helped the Panthers to the winningest season in program history. The Panthers made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament, following the first NCAA tournament berth in program history. For the fifth consecutive season BSC produced an All-SAA tight end. In 2021 the honor went to Byron Millsap.

White brings a wealth of offensive knowledge to the Birmingham-Southern coaching staff. Previously, he worked as the wide receivers / tight ends coach for the Huntsville Rockets (Semi Pro, Gridiron Developmental Football League) for two seasons. He has also worked with the wide receivers / tight ends at Brindlee Mountain High School since 2016.

A 2002 graduate of Jacksonville State University, White majored in political science while minoring in business administration.

White and his family reside in Arab, AL.
