Lee Menefee was named the linebackers coach in the summer of 2019.

In Menefee’s first season, he helped produce two All-Southern Athletic Association linebackers. Garrett Stevens was named to the first team defense while Myles Myers was named to the second team.

Menefee is a recent graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South where he received a bachelor of science in molecular biology and genetics.  At linebacker, Menefee was an All-Southern Athletic Association nomination twice in his career. In both 2017 and 2018, Menefee led the SAA with tackles per game and total tackles.  His 20 tackle performance against Washington & Lee in 2017 ranks him in the top 20 (in all of NCAA Division III) all-time for tackles in a single game. He was also named a captain his senior year.
