Nolan Coulter joined the Panthers’ coaching staff in February 2018 as the running backs coach.  He was named the wide receiver’s coach in the spring of 2019.

In 2019, he helped develop All-Southern Athletic Association selection Cole Marell. Coulter and the receivers played a pivotal role in a dynamic offense that finished ranked top 10 in four different categories.

Coulter’s first season with the Panthers saw him help improve a running attack by 53.6 yards per game. BSC also finished second in the Southern Athletic Association with 21 rushing touchdowns during the 2018 season. Under Coulter’s guidance, running back Zack Seay earned all-conference honors. Seay tied the school record twice during the 2018 season, rushing for three touchdowns in a single game.

He previously served as a student assistant coach at Centre College, working with the running backs. Last season, Coulter assisted in coaching two running backs that finished top three in rushing yards per game in the Southern Athletic Association.  As a player for Centre, Coulter was a part of an offense that set many school records over four consecutive years. He rushed for over 2,700 yards and more than 30 touchdowns as a player.

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Coulter graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School in 2013 and Centre College in 2017.
