Birmingham-Southern College

Jennifer McKannan joined the BSC volleyball coaching staff in the summer of 2018. 

She has been a part of two winning seasons with appearances in the conference tournament championship match, two at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament, and the first Southern Athletic Association championship in program history.

Most recently the varsity head coach at the Randolph School in Huntsville, Ala., McKannan also assisted at Grissom High School.

She returned to the Hilltop after graduating from BSC in 2011.  During her time as a Panther, she was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year (2010), the BSC Female Athlete of the Year (2011), and graduated from the program as the all-time career digs leader. In the fall of 2018, she was the third volleyball player in program history to be inducted into the Birmingham-Southern Sports Hall of Fame. 

McKannan also coaches for NASA Volleyball Club. She is certified in Erin's Law, SafeSport, IMPACT, and PCA I.
