Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—A goal in the 95th minute propelled Emory past the Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team, 1-0, Wednesday evening in Atlanta.
The Panthers fell to 11-3-2, while the Eagles moved to 8-4-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emory dominated possession throughout the contest, out-shooting BSC 17-1 including a 10-0 margin through the second half and overtime.
- Christian Meyer scored the game-winner for the Eagles at the 94:30 mark, receiving the far cross in heavy traffic and turning to fire it past diving BSC freshman goalkeeper Galen Curry.
NOTABLE
- Curry recorded two saves, while junior starter Marvin Castellanos recorded one in the first half.
- Emory held an 11-0 advantage in corner kicks.
