Box Score MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – A free-throw with no time on the clock determined Sunday's winner in a battle between Birmingham-Southern women's basketball and Berry College. The Panthers fell 59-58 in overtime on the road to move to 14-10 overall, 10-4 in Southern Athletic Association play.
Three finished in double-figures. Laura Van Peursem (Huntsville, Ala./Randolph HS) and Jameice Holmes (Nashville, Tenn./University School of Nashville) led with a team-high 12 points. Camillia Carter (Hueytown, Ala./Hueytown HS) had her third straight double-digit performance, finishing with 11 points.
And Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
BSC will host a winner-take-all game against Millsaps College this Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. The Panthers are currently tied for first place with Millsaps and the winner of Saturday's game will win the SAA regular season title and host the 2017 women's tournament.
