Big First Half Halts Panthers at Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes College used a big first half to upend the Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team 17-9 Saturday afternoon on Crain Field. BSC moved to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in Southern Athletic Association play with the loss.

 

David Arnold (Tuscaloosa, Ala./Northridge HS), Davis Thompson (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes HS), and Tanner Schneider (Roswell, Ga./Roswell HS) each earned two goals to lead the team. Thompson also had a game-high two assists on the day.

 

Hank Harris (Marietta, Ga./Sprayberry HS) spent 30 minutes in cage and grabbed a team-best seven saves.

 

The Panthers remain on the road. They head to Sewanee next on Friday, March 31.  Game time is set for 7 p.m.
