MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's outdoor track and field team successfully defended its Southern Athletic Association Title Saturday. The Panthers scored 81 more than Rhodes College with 227.5 points to win their second consecutive SAA championship. The women scored 102.5 points to finish fifth overall.
BSC took first in seven events on day two including sweeping the 4x100 relays on both the men's and women's side. The Panthers finished the championships with 11 individual event titles and 24 medals collected.
