BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team could not overcome a slow first half start and fell 8-3 to top seeded Rhodes College in the Southern Athletic Association semifinals Friday night. 

Carson Buckner (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS), Thomas Grove (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell HS), and Tanner Schneider (Roswell, Ga./Roswell HS) scored the Panthers goals.  Grove finished with a team-high two points. 

Matt Quill (Fort Mill, S.C./Coker College) grabbed  game-high 13 saves.
