DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team dropped its first Southern Athletic Association game Friday night 63-39 at Centre College.  BSC is now 7-6 overall and 1-1 in SAA play.

Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) led with a team-high 16 points.  Elizabeth Philpot (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS)grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.

The Panthers remain on the road.  They head to Sewanee next to face the Tigers on Sunday, Jan. 7.  Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.
