Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team overcame an early deficit to come back and defeat Piedmont College 62-58 Saturday afternoon in Bill Battle Coliseum. BSC is now 3-3 on the year.
Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) and Aisya Davis (Powder Springs, Ga./Hillgrove HS) led the Panthers in points. Olsen netted another double-double with game-highs of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Davis finished with 10 points, respectively.
Christian McGowan (Birmingham, Ala./Oak Mountain HS), Cassady Quintana (Orlando, Fla./William R. Boone HS), and Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) each earned nine points in the win.
BSC hits the road next. They head to Atlanta on Saturday, Dec. 8 to take on Emory University. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
