ATLANTA, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team closed out its 2017-18 season with a 62-51 loss to Hendrix College in the quarterfinals of the Southern Athletic Association tournament Friday afternoon.  BSC finished the year 11-15 overall.

Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS)  earned a game-high 16 points.  She and Elizabeth Philpot (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS) led the team in rebounds with nine each.  Philpot also finished in double-figures with 12 points of her own, respectively.
