LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team fended off Covenant College Friday after sweeping doubles to earn the 5-4 road win.  BSC is now 2-0 on the year.

Lee Thompson (Boaz, Ala./Boaz HS) , and Charley Rowe (Gadsden, Ala./Westbrook Christian School) each picked up two wins on the day to help secure the victory.  Thompson defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.  And Rowe won No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-0.

The Panthers return home to take on University of Alabama in Huntsville on Friday, Feb. 16.  Match time is set for 2 p.m.
