BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team won both of its matches Saturday at home in the Dielen Tennis Complex. The Panthers (5-4) took down Centenary 8-1 before topping LaGrange 7-2.
Jamie Bekaert (Johns Creek, Ga./Rivers Academy) and Charley Rowe (Gadsden, Ala./Westbrook Christian School) earned three wins on the day. The pair won at No. 2 doubles against LaGrange and picked up singles wins in both matches. Lee Thompson (Boaz, Ala./Boaz HS) also played in both matches and won in singles play.
BSC heads to Jackson, Miss. next where they will face Belhaven, Texas-Tyler, and Millsaps. Competition runs March 23-25.
