ORLANDO, Fla. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team took three of its four singles wins in tiebreakers to earn the 5-4 win over Augustana Friday.

"The guys battled really hard today," said Head Coach Jimmy Weinacker.  "They made BSC fans very proud today."

Anthony Pellegrini (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) and Jacob Weinacker (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) extended their win streak at No. 1 doubles.  They finished with two wins on the day after also winning their respective singles matches.  Lee Thompson (Boaz, Ala./Boaz HS) and Charley Rowe (Gadsden, Ala./Westbrook Christian School) round out the Panthers with singles wins. 

BSC continues competition in the sunshine state.  They face Elizabethtown next on Saturday, March 3.
