JACKSON, Miss. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team improved to 6-4 overall with its 8-1 win over Belhaven University Friday afternoon.

Jacob Weinacker (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) and Anthony Pellegrini (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) continue their win streak. The duo is undefeated at No. 1 doubles in dual matches at 9-0.  Weinacker also won his No. 1 singles match 7-5, 7-5.

Other Panthers picking up two wins on the day were Lee Thompson (Boaz, Ala./Boaz HS), Alex Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS), Jamie Bekaert (Johns Creek, Ga./Rivers Academy), and Charlie Rowe (Gadsden, Ala./Westbrook Christian School).

BSC stays in Jackson for their next match.  They take on Texas-Tyler Saturday at 9 a.m.
