DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team earned a 5-0 victory over Centre College Saturday for the Panthers first Southern Athletic Association win.  BSC is now 7-7 overall.

The Panthers swept Centre in doubles play to take a 3-0 lead into singles.  Jacob Weinacker (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) and Alex Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) supplied the final wins to take the match.  Weinacker won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.  And Wisener cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win at the No. 6 position.

The Panthers return home for their next match.  They take on Oglethorpe University at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 7.
