MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team's run in the Southern Athletic Association tournament ended Saturday with a 6-3 loss to Millsaps College. The Majors are ranked No. 9 in the region. BSC (11-9) is ranked 14th.
Anthony Pellegrini (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) and Jacob Weinacker (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) continued to dominate in doubles. They upset the No. 1 duo in the region 8-4. Lee Thompson (Boaz, Ala./Boaz HS) and Alex Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) earned the Panthers singles wins. Thompson won at the No. 4 position 7-6 (8-6), 6-4. Wisener won in the No. 5 spot 6-3, 6-4.
