MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team fell on the road at Berry College on Saturday, dropping the contest to the Vikings 16-9.

Sophomore attack Carson Buckner (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) and freshman midfielder Carter Watkins (Charlotte, N.C./Adrey Kell HS) led the team with two goals each. Watkins is third on the team this season with 27 goals.

Sophomore Matt Quill (Fort Mill, S.C./Coker College) got the start at goalie for BSC and recorded nine saves.

Birmingham-Southern will remain on the road for its next contest tomorrow, Sunday, April 8 at Oglethorpe University. The match is set to start at noon ET.
