Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team used a full team effort to top Agnes Scott College 72-35 Friday night in Bill Battle Coliseum. 15 Panthers hit the floor as BSC improved to 2-0 on the year.
Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) led all scorers with a game-high 19 points and earned a game-high four steals. Leah Middleton (Decatur, Ga./St. Pius XH) and Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) finished in double figures with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Middleton also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
The Panthers continue play in the Dardenne Classic tomorrow. They take on Covenant College at 2 p.m.
