Box Score JACKSON, Miss. – Birmingham-Southern women's basketball rallied late against The University of the Ozarks, but the comeback fell short as the Ozarks went up 65-63 with seven seconds left. BSC moved to 4-1 overall with the loss.
Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) dropped a game-high 22 points to lead all scorers. Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) earned a double-double. She finished with 17 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Panthers return to the Hilltop Tuesday to take on Berea. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
