Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team stopped a five-game skid Sunday with its 65-54 win over Hendrix College in Southern Athletic Association play. BSC (8-15) is now 6-7 against conference opponents and tied for fourth in the league heading into the final weekend.
Three Panthers finished in double-figures. Misa Fujii (Sunnyvale, Calif./Notre Dame) made 5-of-6 from the floor and was a perfect 2-for-2 at the charity stripe to lead the team with 15 points. Christian McGowan (Birmingham, Ala./Oak Mountain HS) finished with 12 points, and Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) earned 10, respectively.
Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds and had a game-high five blocks.
BSC has one regular season game remaining. They face Millsaps College on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. It'll be senior day for the Panthers and they will recognize the class of 2019 before tipoff.
