BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team battled Sunday, but fell 9-0 to No. 18 Sewanee in conference play.
Ethan Gibson (Huntsville, Ala./Covenant Christian) forced a tiebreak at No. 4 singles after dropping the first set 6-2 and then winning set two 6-4. But he would eventually fall 10-7.
BSC (7-8, 1-3 SAA) hits the road next. They take on Belhaven at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.
