Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team earned a 4-2 road win at LeTourneau on Friday night, its first away win of the 2019 season.
A four-goal first half carried the Panthers to the win, improving their record to 2-2-1 on the season.
Sophomore Christian Hernandez (Fort Payne, Ala./Fort Payne HS) opened up the scoring in the 15th minute. Less than three minutes later, freshman forward Coleman Jennings (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) doubled BSC's advantage with another goal off an assist from Rafael Millan (Fort Payne, Ala./Fort Payne HS).

The Panthers closed their account in the 41st minute after a Max Sager (Baton Rouge, La./Runnels HS) goal gave BSC a 4-0 advantage. Adrian Castro (Hoover, Ala./Spain Park HS) earned the assist on the play.
LeTourneau scored two goals in the 48th and 53rd minutes, but Birmingham-Southern's dominating first 45 minutes was too much to overcome.
