Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Birmingham-Southern women's basketball suffered its first conference loss of the season on a buzzer beater at Rhodes Sunday. BSC (12-4) fell 66-63 to the Lynx to move to 4-1 in Southern Athletic Association play.
Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) earned her third double-double of the season with game-highs of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Cassady Quintana (Orlando, Fla./William R. Boone HS) finished with a career-high 11 points. And Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) rounded out the Panthers in double-figures with 10 of her own.
BSC continues conference play on the road. They head to Berry College this Friday in a doubleheader with the men's team. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. CT.
