DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team couldn't hold on for the win Friday night at Centre College.  The Panthers fell 61-52 to move to 13-8 overall, 5-5 in Southern Athletic Association play.

Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) earned team-highs of 15 points and five rebounds, shooting .500 from the floor.  Leah Middleton (Decatur, Ga./St. Pius XH) also picked up double-digits points while shooting .500.  She and Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) netted 10 each, respectively. 

BSC closes out this road trip at Sewanee on Sunday.  Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
