BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men's tennis fell 5-4 Monday in a battle with Martin Methodist College.
Jameson Bekaert (Johns Creek, Ga./Rivers Academy) went undefeated on the day. He and doubles partner Wilbur Dotson (Fairhope, Ala./Fairhope HS) won No. 1 doubles 8-3 before he went on to take his No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-3. Dotson also picked up two wins. He defeated his No. 2 singles opponent 6-3, 6-1.
BSC (2-3) heads to Covenant next. They take on the Scots Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1:30 p.m.
