BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men's tennis moved to 2-2 overall after sweeping MUW 9-0 Sunday at the Dielen Tennis Complex.
The Panthers swept doubles play without dropping a single game on all three courts. Anthony Romano (Knoxville, Tenn./Webb HS) and Zach Lewis (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) finished the day perfect. The pair won at No. 2 doubles 8-0 before going on to defeat their respective No. 3 and No. 4 singles opponents in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
BSC remains at home next. They take on Martin Methodist Monday, Feb. 17 at 4 p.m.
