Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern women's basketball was unable to fend off a late rally by Rhodes College Sunday afternoon in Bill Battle Coliseum as the Panthers fell 70-50. BSC moved to 14-10 overall and 6-7 in Southern Athletic Association play with the loss.
Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) and Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) earned double-doubles in the final regular season game on the Hilltop. Olsen netted a team-high 19 points and game-high 12 rebounds on senior day. Black finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Leah Middleton (Decatur, Ga./St. Pius XH) rounded out the Panthers in double figures with 10 of her own, respectively.
BSC hits the road next. They take on Millsaps Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.
