MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Birmingham-Southern men's basketball improved to 2-0 in Southern Athletic Association play after completing their sweep of Rhodes College with a 83-63 road win Saturday afternoon.
 
Christian Stewart (Irondale, Ala./Shades Valley HS) led all scorers with a game-high 21 points.  Ben Spence (Germantown, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) and Cameron Glover (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS) also finished in double-figures, netting 11 points each, respectively.  Spence was one rebound away from a double-double, grabbing a game-high nine.
 
BSC (5-1) returns home to the Hilltop to take on Oglethorpe University on Saturday, Jan. 23.  Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
