BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming and diving team won 15 of the 16 events they competed in against Millsaps College Friday night, topping the Majors 209-37. BSC now has three wins on the year.
Chris Rubin (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia High school) led the Panthers with three wins. He took first in the 200 free, 200 breaststroke, and was a part the winning of the 400 free relay team.
Hayden Henderson (Tupelo, Miss./Tupelo HS) joined him on the 400 free relay team and also won the 200 medley relay.
With Henderson on the 200 medley relay win was
Cameron Coffey (Owingsville, KY./Montgomery county HS),
Max Stoneking (Olathe, Kan./Olathe South HS), and
Sam Arnold (Auburn, Ala./Homeschooled). Each finished with two wins on the day.
Carson Maggio (Actworth, Ga./Harrison HS),
Chase Bolding (Panama City Beach, Fla./Wyoming University), and
Joe Swing (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) also had two wins.
BSC takes on Berry College next on senior day tomorrow at 10 a.m.
