MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men's swimming and diving fell at Montevallo Saturday 94-92 in a battle against the NCAA Division II opponent.
 
Jackson Defore (Brentwood, Tenn./Jackson Venice HS) took two events on the day.  He won the 50 free in 22.51 and the 100 back in a time of 53.97.  Chris Rubin (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia HS) placed first in the 100 free by a second.  And Charlie Fountain (Lilburn, Ga./Parkview HS) won the 500 free in 4:59.20.
 
The Panthers remain on the road.  They take on Berry College in Rome, Ga. for a two-day meet on January 15.
