MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - A Berry goal five minutes into the game was too much for the Panthers to overcome as they fell 2-0 to the Vikings.
The early Berry goal gave the Vikings momentum for most of the first half as they recorded 10 shots, four of which were on goal with
Ardis Haskell saving three of them.
The Panthers controlled the possession for most of the second half, and had great scoring opportunities but could not capitalize. The Panthers push to tie the game came up short, and the Vikings were able to take advantage of the missed opportunities. In the 90th minute Berry netted their second goal of the game to end the Panthers' hopes of a comeback.
BSC fell to Berry 2-0.
