BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming and diving team competed against the University of Alabama on Friday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
While this was a tough meet for the Panthers, there were standout performances during the events.
Chase Bolding recorded a time of 51:67 in the 100-yard butterfly placing him in first place in this event. Coming in second place was
Jalen McDade with a time of 54:56. Right behind McDade, in third place, was
Cameron Coffey with a time of 55:62. The Panthers kept the winning streak going into the 200-yard IM.
Charlie Fountain finished first place with a time of 2:05.31.
Aden Kraft finished with a time of 2:05.59 to put him in second place. Patty Esposito came in third place with a time 2:08.40.
In the three-meter dive, the Panthers took first and second place in this event.
Avery Balch came in first place with a final score of 283.50. Coming in second place is
Mason Legg with a final score of 136.13.
