ROME, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team jumped two spots on the last day of the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invite to finish in 11th place in their final event of the fall season.
On day one of the Invite BSC had four of their five golfers shoot 78 (+6) or better.
Connor Hawkins led the way with a 76 (+4), followed by
Price Bryan who shot a 77 (+5).
Sammy Brucker and
Jackson Bowman each finished with a 78 (+6) for the Panthers. BSC shot a combined 309 on day one. They would head into the second and final day in 13th place.
On day two of the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invite the Panthers shot a 311, two shots worse than the day before but it was good enough to jump two places in the final standings.
Jackson Bowman and
Sammy Brucker helped the Panthers shooting an even-par, 72 and a three-over, 75 respectively.
