Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – Birmingham-Southern men's tennis swept doubles play to pace their 8-1 win over Wallace State Friday afternoon. 
 
Wilbur Dotson (Fairhope, Ala./Fairhope HS), Hallett Green (Mobile, Ala./Mcgill Toolen), Elijah Ingleson (Marieta, Ga./Walton J), Hunter Hoffmeister (Longwood, Fla./Orangewood Christian HS), and Tom Smith (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Central Magnet School) went undefeated on the day. 
 
Dotson rebounded to win No. 1 singles (6-4, 3-6, 6-3) after he and No. 1 doubles partner Ingleson win 8-4.  Ingleson dropped only one game in his No. 4 singles win.  Green won at both No. 2 singles and doubles partnered with Smith who won his No. 6 singles match.
 
Hoffmeister rounded out the unbeaten Panthers. He and partner Martinson won 8-5 at the No. 3 doubles spot.  He went on to win No. 5 singles 6-3, 6-2. 
 
BSC returns to action on February 16 against Piedmont College.  Match time is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Dielen Tennis Complex.
