BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse dropped their first game of the 2021 season to NCAA Division II opponent University of Alabama in Huntsville on a rainy Saturday afternoon in Krulak Stadium.
Lizzie LaVangie (Jacksonville, Fla./Darlington School) scored the Panthers lone goal in the 24-1 loss.
Alexus Howard (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) led with a game-high five saves.
BSC returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 13. They travel to face Piedmont College. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
