BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Monasia Taylor (Lawrenceville, Ga./Archer HS) of Birmingham-Southern women's track and field was named the Southern Athletic Association track athlete of the week.
 
Taylor posted a time of 12.67 seconds in the women's 100 meters at the BSC Hilltop Classic. She also a 26.85 in the 200m.  Among conference runners, Taylor's 100m mark leads the SAA. Her 200m time currently ranks fifth on the SAA performance list.
