BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team dominated Southern Athletic Association rival Berry College in their conference opener Saturday afternoon. The Panthers had seven different goal scorers en route to a 15-3 win.
Kendal Vick (Madison, Ala./James Clemons HS) led the team offensively with four goals.
Kathleen Napier (Burlingame, Calif./Mercy HS) also finished with four points after netting a hat trick of her own and assisting another goal. Defensively,
Caroline Short (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) caused a game-high nine turnovers and grabbed eight ground balls.
Grace Lee Paden (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) and
Jordyn Davidson (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge HS) spent time in goal. Paden earned the win, finishing with a team-high six saves.
BSC finishes the series against Berry tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
