BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team swept Southern Athletic Association rival Oglethorpe University in straight sets for both matches of their doubleheader Saturday afternoon. BSC is 4-0 for the season and in conference play.
Alyssa Coats (Nolensville, Tenn./Nolensville HS) led the team in kills on the day with 32 and was second in digs at 17.
Kennedy Dickens (Brentwood, Tenn./Ravenwood HS) hit .469 with 20 kills and three blocks.
Julia Shoemake (Huntsville, Ala./The Randolph School) led the backline with 24 digs averaging four per set. And
Ansleigh Dailey (Daphne, Ala./Bayside Academy) collected 61 assists.
The Panthers hit the road next. They take on Centre College Saturday, March 20 for another conference doubleheader. First match begins at 10 a.m.
