BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After tying the game up early in the fourth quarter, Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse scored two goals in the last 90 seconds to earn the 8-6 win over Southern Athletic Association rival Berry College Friday night in Krulak Stadium.
Carter Watkins (Charlotte, N.C./Adrey Kell HS) led the Panthers with four points. He scored two goals and assisted two others in the win.
Reid Harrison (Fayetteville, Ga./Starr's Mill HS), who assisted two of Watkins' goals, finished with three points after scoring a goal of his own.
Luke Fajack (Chapel Hill, N.C./Bridgewater College) picked up the win. He finished with a game-high 15 saves; the last of which stopped the potential game-tying goal with 30 seconds remaining.
BSC closes out the regular season this Sunday against Oglethorpe University. Game time is set for noon.
