BSC SWIMS AWAY WITH THE VICTORY

Birmingham, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming team returned home competing in a dual meet against the University of Montevallo and Millsaps College. The Panthers dominated in both meets outscoring both teams. BSC vs Montevallo score was 169-88 and against Millsaps was 192-36. The panthers won 11 out of the 28 events at the meet.
 
The Panthers had success in the 200 Medley Relay taking first and second place. Jalen McDade, Hayden Henderson, Chase Bolding, and Jakob Icimsoy led the Panther coming in first place with a time of 1:37.57. BSC brought that momentum in the 200 Free Relay coming in first with a time of 1:28.30: Carson Maggio, Connor McClain, McDade, and Icimsoy.
 
Jakob Icimsoy led the Panthers in the 200 Free coming in first place with a time of 1:43.69. Chris Rubin represented in the 100 Back claiming first place with a time of 53.95. Right behind Rubin was Cameron Coffey in second place with a time of 55.84. Hayden Henderson dominated in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:00.35 putting him in first place. Chase Bolding led the 200 Fly picking up first place with a final time of 2:01.09.
 
The Panthers would go on to collect first place in the 100 Free (Icimsoy), 200 Back (Maggio), 200 Breast (Aden Kraft), 500 Free (Charlie Fountain), and 100 Fly (Bolding).
