MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's swim and dive team traveled south to the University of Montevallo. The Panthers lost to the Division II opponent 186-75.
The men opened up the meet with a second place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. The team of Noah Daniels, Connor McClain, Jalen McDade and Jakob Icimsoy swam to a time of 3:39.18. Icimsoy and Daniels earned a second place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle event and 100-yard backstroke respectively.
Following that was a second place finish by Adam Jones in the 1000-yard freestyle, with Graham Simmon following that up with a third place finish in the 100-yard backstroke. Simmon earned a second place finish as well in the 200-yard breaststroke. Simmon had another great showing in the 200-yard IM with again a second place finish.
The Panthers got their first, first place finish from AJ Schwabe who won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:58.49.

Birmingham-Southern will travel to Crawfordsville, Ind. as they compete against Wabash College on Friday, Nov. 18. The meet will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 20.
